Preschool Classes at FCNS 3-year-old Classes
As in all our classes, our 3 year old class (Group 1) focuses on the development of the whole child. 4-year-old Classes
Our 4-year-old class (Group 2) focuses on the development of the whole child with an eye on kindergarten readiness. We provide activities that develop: *Creative expression through art, music, stories, and dramatic play *Large and small motor development through swings, climbing, bike riding, writing, cutting, and manipulative toys. * Language development and social-emotional development through stories, social interaction, and group activities Our goal is for children moving on to kindergarten to be able to count to 20, recognize some letters and numbers, write their first name, be able to follow directions, routines, focus at storytime, and cooperate with others.
